# ParaNodes

## What is ParaNode?

These are Classic Nodes that users may purchase directly from the protocol with their PARA tokens. By buying and holding the PARANODE, users gain access to a variety of DeFi protocols across many chains (DeFi-as-a-service). ParaNodes will have 4 tiers, each tier will give you different APR rate: A higher node results in a higher tier. In addition, you will be able to "evolve" Tier 4 node into a ParaVerse Node. These will have even higher utility.

## How to build ParaNode?

You will be able to exchange your $PARA tokens for a ParaNode that will allow you to claim your rewards. When a ParaNode is created, 85% of the tokens are burned. This way the $PARA supply will decrease as more ParaNodes are created. Which in effect will driver the $PARA price up.
